In Full Bloom

Oh, I made a page that just makes me happy.  We recently went on a visit to the tulip fields not far from where we live. It's something we try to do every year. Yes, there are only so many photos of tulips to take, but the absolute natural beauty never gets old. The quantity of flowers and color in one place truly is breathtaking.

I was inspired to do this page by a sketch created by me friend Orange Gearle for our first Scrap n Chat held yesterday in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook Community.

I asked permission to expand the sketch into a 2 page layout.

This is one of those rare occasions when I had an idea in my head and it translated to paper exactly as I had imagined. Well Almost anyway.  Working with color is easy for me, especially bright color. These Bella Blvd clear cuts are the bomb diggity on this page for color. The bright Bella Blvd papers are the perfect anchor for page. The Bella Blvd Stickers and chipboard give the page some dimension. The Doodlebug doilies and alphas are the best embellishments to complete the page. With all this color, the photos are still the star. I love the ending result and it makes me smile.

Thanks for taking a look at my creative view today. It's a bright, colorful and happy one. Come back again tomorrow, I've got more up my sleeve.
