Hello Sunshine

Well, I said I have lots to share this week. I've been super excited to share this layout. It is featured in today's Get It Scrapped article, using embellishments in a design hierarchy, and only 3 embellishment areas.

This was a great assignment for me. First, I've been perfecting my creation and usage of clusters. Second, I had this big, huge wood piece that had been staring me in the face. Third, I had some new papers and mist to play with. All of these helped me choose this photo of my younger son playing in a pool on a hot day at Grandma's. He's so easy to please. Give him some water and he gives you an instant smile.    In a nutshell, It was natural to make the title the heaviest embellishment area because of the product I chose.  The As you move around the page to the bottom, the clusters get smaller. I embellished the title piece to make it stand out even more. Throughout the page, I repeated the color yellow, small word stickers, and wood pieces, all in different shapes and pieces.

Thanks for taking a look at my creative view today. There are many more inspiring layouts and articles on the Get It Scrapped blog. Today is also the last day to take advantage of the discounted price of the new class Curated Albums

  3. I love how you clustered everything. It's a reminder that our clusters do not need to be the same size. Love J's smile!
