Grins by the Sea

Good morning and Happy New Year. I think a perfect way to begin the year is with a new challenge and layout to share. Here is the first sketch challenge of the month and year for Stuck?! Sketches

Here is the page I created using the sketch as inspiration.  I recently printed a bunch of 4x6 photos and I am determined to use them without reprinting them in other sizes.  By using the larger photos, the embellishment clusters became smaller, but the integrity of the sketch remains the same. Once again, you can see the versatility in our sketches.

While on a family picnic, I wanted to get a photo of my son with the ocean as background. Someone got a bit goofy and threw me the cheesy grins as well. I kept them all to remind me of his silliness and carefree nature.

Please join our challenges for a chance to win some wonderful prizes from our generous sponsors.  See the Stuck?! Sketches blog for details and rules of play.

Thanks for starting of the year with me and my creative view. I plan on sharing many memories, both newly acquired and fondly remembered. I hope you will follow along as I get them all down on paper.

Supplies: CS-American Crafts, PP, chipboard, flair, stickers and die cuts-October Afternoon. Enamel dots-MME, alphas-October Afternoon, MME, mist-Studio Calico
