One Last Day

Sunday, April 19, 2015

Good morning! I have one last project to share for Red Carpet Studios before we take a short hiatus. Today's movie in inspiration is Mall Cop 2. The twist is to use mists & paints & gesso because the movie is about art thieves.

Here is my project. I am not a mixed media scrapper, but I do use my mists frequently. I splattered in a few places across the layout. I had a few photos of my son's last day of school in 2010. Not ordinarily something I would consider truly significant, but we moved a week later. It was the last day  at his school, at this bus stop, and with these friends.

I love 2 page layouts and was thrilled to see a great sketch at ScrapMuch? this month.

I kept pretty close to the sketch. I divided my background papers in to 3 different ones, and used the small photo spot for journaling.

Thanks for stopping by my creative view today. There is always lots going on around here. Come back again soon.

Supplies: CS-American Crafts, PP, brads, chipboard & stickers-Simple Stories, enamel dots-MME, mist-Tattered Angels
