You + Us

Hey there. Yep, I have more stuff to share this week. Today's project is courtesy of Picture This challenge blog. The challenge this time is:

3 photos + black & white + lace

I will admit, right here, that this was really tough for me. I found photos, but then lace didn't work. I found black & white, but not 3 photos. But seeing as I don't shy away from a challenge, I found a way to make this work. 

I took these photos of us at the tulip fields and turned it into a page about what we do together. The colors in the photos helped dictate the color scheme. I found this fun sketch My Scraps & More. (I don't play there as often as I'd like!) I grabbed a bunch of pieces from a Paper Issues Swag Bag as well as some other 3x4 papers I had cut up for the paper layers. I don't use lace. Ok, rarely, do I use lace. But I made good use of a doily! I added a bunch of random embellishments, all in black & white. They all tie into the theme of family. Done.
